I believe that people can only truly move with me when there is safety and trust. That is why I work from a position of calmness and empathy. This ensures that an employer dares to put his interests openly on the table and an employee feels heard.

My strength is maintaining balance at the table - with attention to both sides. By asking sharp but inviting questions, I bring the underlying interests to the surface: what really matters to you. This not only leads to a solution, but often to a surprising way out that creates space for the future.

About Me

I work as an employment mediator and lawyer from Deventer and for Van Opstal & Partners I help with labor conflicts in Gelderland and Overijssel. People often say that I have a well-developed compass for what is going on in the other person - and that this makes me a compass for them as well. I take that as a great compliment.

Trust, direction and clarity are the basis for me. Mediation for me is more than making a compromise: it is searching together for something you can both move forward with.

Ich arbeite als Mediator für Arbeitskonflikte und Rechtsanwalt in Deventer. Für Van Opstal & Partners unterstütze ich Klientinnen und Klienten bei Konflikten am Arbeitsplatz in Gelderland und Overijssel - auch auf Deutsch.

Menschen sagen oft, dass ich ein gut entwickeltes Gespür dafür habe, was in anderen vorgeht - und dass ich dadurch ein Kompass für sie selbst werde. Das empfinde ich als ein großes Kompliment.

Vertrauen, Orientierung und Klarheit bilden für mich die Grundlage. Mediation bedeutet für mich mehr als nur einen Kompromiss zu finden: Es geht darum, gemeinsam eine Lösung zu entwickeln, mit der beide Seiten wirklich weiterkommen.

Ich biete deutschsprachige Mediation bei Arbeitskonflikten, zum Beispiel bei Spannungen im Team, schwierigen Gesprächen mit Vorgesetzten oder Re-Integrationen nach längerer Krankheit.
