Van Opstal & Partners operates from locations throughout the Netherlands with a carefully selected network of more than 30 experienced employment mediators. All of our mediators are registered with theDutch Mediators’ Federation (MfN)and specialize in resolving employment disputes and exit mediation.

With collectively thousands of successful mediations behind them, they have in-depth experience in both business (SMEs, multinationals) and the public sector (including municipalities, colleges and provinces).

Multidisciplinary expertise

Our mediators come from a variety of fields. Many have a background in labor law, others in psychology or coaching. What they have in common is a keen eye for human dynamics as well as the legal frameworks within which labor conflicts often take place.

Whether restoring an employment relationship or carefully managing an exit, our mediators know how to guide parties in an expert, neutral and respectful manner.

Quality and continuous development

Our mediators meet all the requirements of the MfN register. This means, among other things, that they:

• Have completed a mediation training course recognized by the MfN
• Continuously improving one's skills throughcontinuing education, peer review, and practical experience
• Regularly review and evaluate to ensure their professionalism

In addition, as an organization we actively invest in expertise promotion. For example, we regularly organize internal professionalization days, which focus on knowledge sharing, reflection and development.
