My Mediation Style

As an MfN-registered mediator, I guide labor and cooperation conflicts in a businesslike, structured and neutral manner. My approach is clear and pragmatic, with an eye for the interests of all involved. Careful communication is central: I create space for people to clarify their interests and needs, with the aim of jointly reaching feasible and supported agreements.

I help employees and employers break through conflicts, make patterns visible and realize lasting solutions. Whether it is a labor conflict, a disturbed cooperation or a reintegration issue - my approach is analytical, empathetic and goal-oriented. Clients appreciate my ability to get to the essence quickly, make complex situations clear and get conversations back on track.

"There is puzzling until the end result suits both parties."

About Me

As an MfN-registered mediator with more than 1,000 mediations behind him, I have extensive experience in guiding conflicts - from multinationals and SMEs to government organizations, schools and healthcare institutions. I also supervise trajectories with multiple parties, such as municipalities, companies and local residents. Because of my broad experience in various sectors, I know how to get to the heart of the matter quickly and realize workable, sustainable solutions - even in complex situations.

Prior to my career as a mediator, I worked as a P&O consultant and human resources manager in both the non-profit and commercial sectors. In those positions, I saw up close how crucial clear communication and proper alignment are - especially in times of change. At the same time, I have experienced how quickly conflicts can escalate, resulting in unnecessary damage. These experiences led me to start working as a mediator in 2006, from the conviction that conflicts can be resolved in a better and respectful way - together.

Since then, I have worked with conviction to resolve conflicts and strengthen working and cooperative relationships. The satisfaction it gives when people can move on again remains my motivation.

Favorite Mediation Quote

"A good conversation opens doors that seemed closed before."

Proud of

I am proud of the trust people put in me, especially in vulnerable situations. And of the many trajectories in which I have contributed to restoring cooperation, clarity and progress - even where things initially seemed stuck.

What parties say about me

  • "You know how to get to the point quickly."

  • "You bring clarity to complex situations."

  • "You guide the process with calmness, focus and respect."

  • "There will be puzzling until the end result suits both parties" (this one was already nicely in there)

Wat is de leukste vraag die je als Mediator gekregen hebt

"Don't you ever get tired of all these conflicts?"

It may sound crazy, but no. In fact, I get energy from guiding conversations that matter. A conflict is often a sign that something substantial is going on. If it is possible to get that to move, then that is exactly why I do this work.
