My Mediation Style
I work personally, respectfully and solution-focused. In every mediation, I take the time to truly hear both parties, without judgment. I believe that in every conflict lies an opportunity to learn from each other - provided there is room to listen as well as to speak. I help create that space, so that movement becomes possible again. My style is involved and calm, with an eye for both the process and the goal: clarity, recovery and progress.
About Me
Since 2012 I work as a mediator from Utrecht after years of being active as a coach and mediator within various organizations and with people from diverse backgrounds. My mediation style is characterized by the ability to zoom in and out: I keep an eye on the bigger picture as well as the personal dynamics between people. I work personally, with real attention to the person behind the conflict. I conduct conversations with respect and commitment. I specialize in labor law and focus on finding lasting solutions. Solution-focused work is central to me, with room for everyone's story and perspective.
Favorite Mediation Quote
"In every conflict lies an opportunity to learn from each other - with attention, respect and an eye for a common solution."
Proud of
I take pride in getting people in difficult situations to talk to each other again. That I manage to create space for recovery. It gives me satisfaction when parties reach a solution together that really works. In working relationships, where a lot can happen, it feels valuable to contribute to connection and progress.
What parties say about me
"She brings calm to tense situations and knows how to quickly gain trust."
"She helps to get movement again, just when you think you're stuck."
"She looks not only at the conflict, but also at the people behind it."
"Her knowledge of labor law provided guidance, but most of all it was her human approach that made the difference."
Wat is de leukste vraag die je als Mediator gekregen hebt
"Can you really remain neutral if you perceive that one side is wrong?"
A good question, because as a mediator I am not looking for who is right. I am looking for what helps to move forward. For me, being neutral means: providing space for both perspectives, and making sure everyone feels heard - that's what makes movement possible.
