My Mediation Style
My name is Petra and my work includes working as a professional mediator. What characterizes me in my work is my calmness, my ability to listen well and my feeling for what is going on underneath. My experience is that people feel at ease with me, and I often get this back from the people I guide and assist. I believe that my strength lies in creating a safe atmosphere in which everyone feels heard. From there, space is created for future-oriented and sustainable solutions. For me this is an important basis for taking steps forward together in a deadlocked situation. I guide mediation processes with attention, structure and sincere commitment. Whether it concerns conflicts within families, in the workplace or in a criminal case: I help parties to talk to each other again and, if necessary and desirable, to reach workable agreements together. About Me
I have worked as an attorney since 2004, and in 2008 I decided to start my own firm. Over the years I came to the realization that most solutions are achieved through consultation, so in 2014 I expanded my work to become an MfN mediator. With experience in family law, (juvenile) criminal law and labor law, I guide a variety of conflicts, from divorcing parents to tensions within organizations. I am committed, practical and do not shy away from difficult situations - this is often where the key to change lies.

Proud of
The trust people have in me makes me proud. After all, these are often vulnerable or tense situations. It touches me every time a conversation, which at first got stuck, finally gets going again - when people are truly heard and space is created for recognition, insight and recovery. Whether it is a work conflict, a family matter or a criminal case, I am proud to contribute with my calmness, sharpness and commitment to a process that often yields more relief and clarity than people dare to hope for beforehand.
